Fred Wu

Fred Wu is the founder and principal lawyer of wu law. He is a litigator with broad experience in civil-commercial disputes, and a particular focus in intellectual property and technology. Fred’s skill stems from his work at top Canadian and UK boutiques, as well as large national and multinational full-service firms. He has acted for leading businesses in matters before the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior Court of Justice (including Divisional Court), Court of Appeal for Ontario, and UK Supreme Court. Fred combines his technical acumen, legal expertise, and creative problem-solving in his law practice.

  • Olga Hryniv

    SUMMER STUDENT

    Olga is a JD candidate, entering her final year at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. Before law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Social Entrepreneurship, from McGill University. Olga has developed an interest in litigation, particularly where law intersects with entrepreneurship and innovation.

    As a caseworker and Tenant Division Leader at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic, Olga has already represented several parties before the Landlord and Tenant Board. Olga’s community involvement extends through the Ottawa Legal Innovation Hub, facilitating dialogue on law, technology, and access to justice.

    During her summer with wu law., Olga will be building on her legal education, sharpening her advocacy skills, and applying her academic interests on live issues.
